Our History and Ethos
Willow Tree Preschool was established in 1990 by a passionate group of local parents who recognized the need for high-quality early education in the community. Guided by their unwavering commitment to enriching the lives of young minds, Willow Tree has flourished into a thriving center of learning and discovery.
As a non-profit organization, we are run by a dedicated committee of volunteers who work in partnership with our highly qualified staff to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for children. Our values are firmly rooted in the belief that every child is unique and possesses immense potential. We strive to foster their intellectual, physical, and emotional growth through playful exploration, flexible learning experiences, and nurturing relationships.
Preschool Program
Our stimulating curriculum caters to the diverse needs of young learners from 3 months to 5 years. We provide a safe and secure space where children can explore, discover, and develop their social, emotional, and physical skills.
Breakfast and After-School Care
For working parents, we offer a seamless extension of the school day. Children can enjoy a nutritious breakfast at 8:00 am and get transported to school in a safe and comfortable manner. Our after-school program provides a space for play, learning, and outdoor activities until 5:30 pm.
Holiday Club
During school holidays, Willow Tree Cherry Lane offers a themed holiday club packed with exciting activities, sports, and educational workshops for children between the ages of 5 and 11.
Forest School Ethos
We believe in fostering a deep connection with the natural world. Through regular trips to our nearby woodland, children learn to explore, investigate, and respect the wonders of the great outdoors.
Who We Are
Willow Tree Preschool is a registered charity that operates under a constitution set forth by the Early Years Alliance. Our committee, comprised of dedicated parents and community members, plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning and continuous improvement of our preschool.
