Disappointing Experiences
Some reviewers had a disappointing experience at this establishment. Hanna Sorochan gave it 2 stars, citing delays in being seated and receiving food. The delay was around 15-20 minutes, and they had to wait almost an hour for the main course to be brought out. The food was described as edible but nothing outstanding. The service was also deemed unprofessional, with no apology for the long wait.
Similarly, Lottie also gave it 2 stars, stating that the starters were nice, but the main food took almost 2 hours to arrive. The fish and chips were overcooked and tough to eat, and the hunter chicken arrived cold. Karen Dandridge gave it 1 star, saying that the starter was okay, but the main roast was horrendous. The service was also criticized, with one staff member being rude on entrance. Mini Lover also gave it 1 star, complaining about food poisoning after eating there.
Postive Reviews
On the other hand, some reviewers had a great experience. Joe Deakin gave it 5 stars, saying that the staff were lovely, and the food was excellent. He and his partner shared a signature dish and had a chocolate dome for dessert. Ashton Syphas also gave it 5 stars, praising the transparent staff, good portions, and fair prices. Ciaran Patching gave it 5 stars, saying that the service was spot on, and the food was delicious. He had a medium rare steak and a cherry and apple crumble, both of which he enjoyed.
