Our purpose-designed cattery offers heated indoor units with outdoor viewing areas and new astro-turfed catio access. Each pen provides visual stimulation through bird feeders and controlled neighbour interaction. Special attention is given to maintaining a calm environment while ensuring regular human interaction and individualised feeding schedules.
Doggy Day Care

The service accommodates both sociable dogs needing playtime and nervous animals requiring low-stimulation environments, with flexible drop-off and collection times.

We require up-to-date records for distemper, parvo, hepatitis, leptospirosis, and kennel cough vaccinations, with documentation verification upon arrival to maintain biosecurity for all guests.

Questions
Can I visit my pet during their stay?
For the animal's wellbeing, we generally don't allow visits as they can cause distress. However, we may make special arrangements for long-term stays after assessing the pet's temperament.
How do you handle nervous animals?
We let nervous pets approach us at their own pace, provide quiet pens, and build trust gradually. Our staff are trained in low-stress handling techniques and ensure these animals have outdoor access without forced interaction.
What vaccination records are required?
Dogs need distemper, parvo, hepatitis, leptospirosis, and kennel cough vaccinations. Cats require feline respiratory disease and infectious enteritis protection. All vaccinations must be documented and up-to-date upon arrival.
Are there exercise options for dogs?
We offer three Astro Turf areas, three concrete yards, and guided walks. Exercise programs are tailored to each dog's energy level and sociability, with supervised group play for compatible animals.
How are medical emergencies handled?
Our staff are trained in basic first aid and partner with Prospect House Veterinary Clinic. Emergency transport incurs a £20/hour fee, and all veterinary costs must be settled at collection.
Can I tour the facilities before booking?
Yes, we encourage pre-booking visits by appointment. Our staff will show you the kennels and cattery, explain our care procedures, and answer any questions about your pet's upcoming stay.
