- Just made my first phone order with rokmax. I've visited before but couldn't make it down at the moment. The new guy in the store (Gavin or Gordon I think)? was really helpful and helped with tackle choices that I'd been undecided about online.
- Avet reels are the best in the market. Easy to use, easy to maintain & a great drag.
- Ordered 23rd december, delivered christmas eve, you cant get better service than that.
- Ordered online yesterday afternoon and parcel delivered today to the Channel Islands. Great service as always!
Negative Feedback
- I bought a reel and the wrong spare spool. I contacted Rok Max immediately to inform them of my mistake I also told had already reorded the right spool through them. They refused to refund me. The replacement they sent me was the wrong size spool and when I returned it they finally sent a refund. Not very nice people!
- I was expecting a lot from the website. We went to our local tackle shop and they said we should maybe try here for so more lures and tackle. We spent an age looking for the place and when we found it we where looking forward to checking out a new shop we had not been to before. When we arrived in the shop I asked weather they had any predatory fishing gear for my two kids trying to get into the fishing world. As soon as I asked about that, I was shown the door my children had already started looking round and the worker said to them in an aggressive tone that we had to leave as he had a lot to do. I was only recommended this place and definitely would not recommend to my fishing pears. The website showed that there might be fly fishing gear I just bought a permit on a fly fishing lakes and was going to maybe give salmon a go in scotland. We came and saw a massive wall of flys I was going to go look for some new gear but was shown the door. Was really disappointed and will never recommend.
