Parts of Old Downton Lodge are so ancient that history merges with legend, and its renovation so sympathetic and creative that you may confuse fact with fiction. The lodge's courtyard, herb and flower-filled and looking out towards the Hereford hills, is the perfect spot to relax and unwind. Our sitting room, with its log burner and comfortable seating, is the perfect place to socialise and enjoy a drink. The museum, with its cider mill, is the most mysterious room of all, while the grounds offer a tranquil oasis in which to reflect and enjoy the beauty of nature.
