Our History

Our story began in 1868 when Anthony Stoddart Fox opened a branch of Fox and Sons in Bournemouth. Over the next century, Fox and Sons expanded across the south of England, eventually arriving on the Isle of Wight in the mid-1980s. In 2001, Simon Wratten and Sarah Wratten, both senior Fox and Sons managers on the Isle of Wight, bought the island offices and created a new independent estate agency, which they called Fox Property. In 2011, Fox Property became Fox Estate Agents, and in 2018, following a merger with another successful local firm, Home Estate Agency, Fox & Home was born. Today, we're proud to operate from our centralised hub on Ryde High Street, covering the entire island.
