Community Arts Hub & Event Venue in Worcestershire
St George's Hall Bewdley has served as a cornerstone of community life in Worcestershire since its establishment in 1901. Originally built as a public asset by Mrs Sarah Woodward, the Hall has undergone significant redevelopment, reopening in 2013 after extensive renovations funded by National Lottery Awards for All and other grants. Today, we operate as a charitable company, hosting a diverse range of cultural and community activities, including cinema screenings, live music performances, and educational classes. Our volunteer-run Community Cafe provides a welcoming space for residents and visitors, with all profits reinvested into maintaining and enhancing our facilities.

Recognised with the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2022, our dedicated team of staff and volunteers remains committed to preserving this historic venue while meeting the evolving needs of our local community. Through flexible room hire options and partnerships with local organisations, we continue to foster social connection and cultural engagement in Bewdley and surrounding areas.
