Our Expertise

With years of experience to call upon, our team has built up a reputation throughout the area that is second to none. Our founder, Paul Blackmore, started as an apprentice with the Electricity Board in 1977 and obtained City & Guilds certificates in appliance servicing. He went on to work for Hotpoint Ltd. as a service engineer, rising through the ranks to become one of their senior engineers. In 2001, he decided to set up on his own and started Paul Blackmore Appliance Repairs, ensuring that his customers receive the quality of repair and service they expect.

Our Services

We understand that no two jobs are the same, and that's why we operate an open and honest charging policy of a fixed price for the first hour, including the call-out (most repairs are completed within an hour), and then in 15-minute small fixed charges, plus any parts. We only use genuine parts, and if we don't have the part you need, we'll get it in a few days to ensure your appliance is back in working order as soon as possible. Once we've diagnosed the fault, we'll be able to tell you exactly how much it will cost to repair, with no hidden charges.

We also offer an appliance fitting and installation service, whether you're moving and need your appliances disconnected, or if you've just moved and need them fitted. Additionally, if you've bought an appliance and the company doesn't fit it, we can help. We can also remove and fit built-in appliances, please note that for this service, we don't work on our fixed price rate.
