Bumble Bees Day Nursery

At Bumble Bees Day Nursery, we are a family-run day nursery situated in Ealing Common, dedicated to providing a stimulating, caring, and safe environment for all children in our care. Our experienced owner-manager, Maria Hamid, has over 30 years of experience in the early years, and her passion and dedication towards childcare have inspired her daughter, Dalia Hamid, who now deputises at Bumble Bees. Our nursery was established in 2005, and since then, we have been committed to providing high-quality childcare to children between the ages of 3 months and 8 years.

Our Aims and Values

Our aims are to actively promote the development of positive self-image within the children, to be involved with the local community, and to provide an atmosphere that makes the child and the parent/carer happy and comfortable within the nursery. We strive to create a developed and appropriate pre-school curriculum that meets the needs of each individual child, and to support the children's families and work as partners with parents/carers in an open and honest way. We are committed to creating a non-sexist and non-racist atmosphere, and to develop and maintain strong links with other agencies, recognising our professionalism.

Our Facilities and Services

We have 39 extended day care places available, and children attend from 8.00am until 6.00pm. Our facilities are designed to provide a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. We offer a range of services, including a pre-school curriculum, routine and settling, food and snacks, security, and job opportunities. We are located just off Hanger Lane and are within easy access of public transport services: Ealing Common, Ealing Broadway, North Ealing, and West Acton.

Our Curriculum and Activities

Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of each individual child, and we offer a range of activities and areas of learning, including art, music, physical education, and literacy. We believe in creating a developed and appropriate pre-school curriculum that prepares children for their future educational journey. We also recognize the importance of play in children's learning and development, and we provide a range of play equipment and activities that promote learning and exploration.

Our Staff and Qualifications

Our staff are experienced and qualified professionals, dedicated to providing high-quality childcare and education. Our owner-manager, Maria Hamid, has over 30 years of experience in the early years, and her daughter, Dalia Hamid, has completed her Level 4 Certificate in Early Years Practice and is soon to begin The Early Years Professional Status as well as her Master's Degree in Early Years Education at the Institute of Education, University of London. Our staff are committed to ongoing professional development, ensuring that they are up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in early childhood education.
