An Historic Club with a Distinguished Past
Originally formed under the auspices of the Armagh Archery and Lawn Tennis Club, the golf course was generously granted the use of the land in the Demesne by Mr George de la Prev. Beresford in 1893. Over the years, the club has undergone significant developments, particularly in the late 1950s, when the vision and leadership of two influential members, PG Toner and JE Maxwell, drove the acquisition of land for an 18-hole course. Today, we are proud to continue our legacy as a thriving and welcoming golf club in the heart of Armagh City.
