Our Club
Welcome to Silverwood Golf Club, a picturesque 18-hole parkland course located on the outskirts of Lurgan in County Armagh, and close to Junction 10 of the M1 Motorway. Established in 1984, our club has developed from a small group of members playing in a society to a thriving golf club affiliated to the GUI, attracting increasing numbers of members and visitors each year.
Our History
Over the years, we have celebrated several milestones, including our 30th Anniversary in 2014. Our club has a rich history, with a long tradition of competitive golf and a strong sense of community. Our members are at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to provide a warm and welcoming environment for all.
Our Facilities
Our course is a Par 72 18-hole golf course, playing just under 7,000 yards, with some excellent holes offering a challenge to golfers of all levels. In addition to our course, we offer a range of facilities to our members and visitors, including a popular restaurant and clubhouse facilities. We also have a 15-hole Par 3 course and a large putting green, making it easy for all golfers to fully utilize our practice facilities on offer.
Competitions
As a golf club, we take pride in our competitive spirit and participate in Inter-Club GUI Competitions. We also have a busy fixtures list, with Saturday competitions for members and official competitions every Sunday, Wednesday, and Thursday during the summer. Our Juniors have achieved significant success in recent years, including winning the Craigavon Junior Trophy.
