Our Story
Nestled in the serene Lincolnshire countryside, Aswarby Rectory has been thoughtfully restored to offer a beautiful and authentic space for you to create treasured memories with your loved ones. As the wise saying goes, "You can spend your whole life waiting until you're ready. But I have this feeling now, that actually no-one is ever ready to do anything. There is almost no such thing as ready. There is only now. And you should always live in the now." We couldn't agree more, and we invite you to live in the moment with us at Aswarby Rectory.
Our home is your home. In late 2016, we embarked on a journey to restore this Georgian house, leaving our careers in design behind. We knew that the house held the potential for something extraordinary, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to bring it back to life. With our family settled in The Coach House next door, we now dedicate our days to nurturing this little slice of Lincolnshire countryside, preparing it for your arrival.
We believe that the foundation of our most cherished memories is built on the simplest of moments shared with those we hold dear. Our mindful and sympathetic approach to restoration has created a blank canvas for you to envision and host a truly unique and personal gathering. Our deepest desire has been to create a beautiful space that feels both familiar and exhilarating, a place where you can create lifelong memories with your friends and family. Our home is your home, and we hope that you can feel the love and joy within its walls.

Our Weddings and Events
We want your time at Aswarby Rectory to be truly unforgettable. You will have exclusive use of the house and grounds from 9 am on the day of your wedding until 10 am the following morning. This includes all 8 Bedrooms and Bathrooms, so your nearest and dearest can stay by your side throughout your celebration.
We specialise in intimate gatherings, accommodating up to 80 day guests and 120 evening guests. Our expertise and support are at your disposal during the planning process, and our flexible approach enables you to tailor a day that is uniquely yours. Our on-the-day management will ensure that everything falls into place effortlessly, leaving you to be fully present in your moment.
