Based on the border of Suffolk and Essex, K J King Metalwork specialises in the fabrication and installation of traditional estate and park fencing, iron gates, iron railings, and architectural metalwork. Established by Kevin King, our business boasts a proud heritage of producing high-quality, bespoke metalwork that meets the diverse needs of our clients.

Estate and Park Fencing

We are pleased to offer two traditional styles of estate and park fencing, although we can cater to any design and size requirements that you may have. Our continuous bar estate fencing is welded on-site to provide a robust and durable structure that is built to last. Our unique installation method ensures that the fencing follows the contours of the landscape, resulting in an aesthetically pleasing sight for all to enjoy.

Our standard styles of estate/park fencing include:

• 20mm round top bar and four 25mm X 8mm flat bars - standing 1.2 metres high
• 20mm round top bar and four 16mm round bars - standing 1.2 metres high
• 20mm round top bar and three 25mm x 8mm flat bars - standing 1 metre high
• 20mm round top bar and three 16mm round bars - standing 1 metre high

The posts are made from 40mm X 10mm flat bar, measuring 1800mm in length, and have 1200mm/1 metre above the ground. Each post features a 200mm X 200mm thrust plate. Prices for our estate fencing start at 55 + VAT per metre and include a base coat of high-build grey primer, a top coat of paint, and a full installation. This is a guideline price only, as the final price will depend on the current cost of steel. We are fully insured, comply with British standards, and always use British steel. If our standard styles are not exactly what you're looking for, then please let us know, and we will work with you to create a bespoke solution that meets your needs.

Gates and Railings

At K J King Metalwork, we design, manufacture, supply, and install iron gates and railings for driveways, pedestrian access, and parks. We create our gates and railings to complement our fencing or to any design you supply. Our iron gates and railings are built to last, ensuring that the end product is not only beautiful but also safe and secure. We offer a full installation service, ensuring that your finished gates or railings are installed with the utmost care and attention.

Decorative Ironwork

K J King Metalwork can design and manufacture decorative ironwork for the home and garden. At K J King Metalwork, we supply and install driveway edgings of the highest quality. Our edging can be matched to our fencing or railings, resulting in a beautiful, well-designed, and cohesive look. Our driveway edging is available in various widths, as well as bullnosed and pyramid styles.
