Both his maternal and paternal grandparents were jewellers in South Africa, where Saul first began learning about gems and jewellery. This early exposure to the industry blossomed into a lifelong passion, leading Saul to specialise in the retail of diamond engagement jewellery. Saul's qualifications include a degree in retail management from Surrey University and an MBA from Hult International Business School, as well as a prestigious gemological degree from the Gemological Association of Great Britain (GEM-A).

Ifediba Nwokedi-Greenstein, Saul's wife and co-owner, joined the business in 2016 after a successful career in education and psychology.
