Lakeview Children's Nursery is a state-of-the-art, purpose-built nursery located in Foulridge, Lancashire, providing exceptional childcare services to children from three months to school age. Our mission is to create a loving environment where children can flourish, and we strive to achieve this by providing a high-quality, nurturing, and stimulating atmosphere.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to cater to the diverse needs of our young charges. Our nursery is divided into four age-specific rooms: Ducklings (0-1 years), Ducks (1-2 years), Swans (2-3 years), and Pre-School (3-4 years). Each room is designed to provide a stimulating and engaging environment, tailored to the specific needs of each age group.

Rooms

• Ducklings (0-1 years): Our baby room provides a homely and welcoming environment for our youngest charges. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS) and provide a range of activities and games designed to promote emotional and cognitive development.
• Ducks (1-2 years): Our toddler room is designed to promote independence, free choice, and exploration. We provide a range of physical and imaginative play activities to encourage social and emotional development.
• Swans (2-3 years): Our pre-toddler room is designed to provide a stimulating environment for children aged 2-3 years. We offer a range of imaginative and physical play activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Pre-School (3-4 years): Our pre-school room is designed for children aged 3-4 years. We provide a range of educational activities, games, and play materials to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Meet the Team

At Lakeview, we have a dedicated and experienced team of staff who are passionate about providing exceptional care and education to our children. Our team includes Nursery Proprietors Tracey and Neil Smith, along with a team of qualified and experienced Early Years Practitioners and Nursery Managers.

At Lakeview, we are proud to have achieved an OFSTED grading of 'OUTSTANDING' in our 2023 inspection. We have also received numerous awards and recognition for our commitment to providing exceptional childcare.
