DP Firth Transport Limited is a family-run business that has been in operation for over two decades. Established in 1998, the company has grown to become one of the premier providers of logistical support in the UK while still maintaining the care and attention to detail of a family-run business.

The company's origins date back to 1990 when Dane, the current Director, was employed as a driver/mechanic for Transcold North West, owned by Kevin Kelly. When Kevin retired in 1998, Dane saw an opportunity to purchase the company and became the new owner of Transcold North West. For the first couple of years, Dane continued to operate the business under the same name and expanded the fleet, added moffetts to some of the vehicles/trailers, and expanded into warehousing. As the company grew, it required larger premises, and in 2006, Dane changed the company name to DP Firth Transport Limited.

Our team of experienced drivers is ADR & fork lift truck/Moffett trained, ensuring that we provide the highest level of service possible. We take pride in offering a comprehensive range of transport and warehousing services together with vehicle maintenance support for both the company's vehicles and customer's vehicles of DPF Motor Services.

General Haulage

At DP Firth Transport Limited, we offer fast, efficient, and reliable general haulage services. Our modern fleet consists of vans to artic (artic and rigid fitted with moffets/fork lift trucks) that are all fully equipped with ADR spill kits. We also have trackers installed on every vehicle to ensure that we can monitor their location and progress at all times. Our nationwide deliveries include moffett deliveries, artic and rigid full and part loads, load and go same-day deliveries, and 5-7 working day delivery collection nationwide service from 1-26 pallets. We offer timed deliveries, booking in service, and stand trailer can be left at customers' premises for convenient loading.

Warehousing

Our warehousing services include secure storage facilities that offer protection for your goods. We have experienced warehouse staff who can handle and store your goods quickly and efficiently, ensuring that they are ready for dispatch when you need them.

MOT & Service & Repairs

DP Firth Transport Limited offers MOT, service, and repair for commercial vehicles and cars. Our commercial vehicle and car MOT services are for classes 1, 2, 4, 5 & 7. Our experienced mechanics can handle all types of repairs, from minor repairs to major overhauls.

Moffett & ADR Specialists

DP Firth Transport Limited is an ADR specialist, and our team of experienced drivers is ADR & fork lift truck/Moffett trained. We provide Moffett deliveries nationwide and offer a range of tail lift deliveries, including artic tail lift deliveries, 26ton & 18ton tail lift deliveries, van deliveries, and urban tail lift deliveries. Our vehicles are equipped with ADR spill kits, and all drivers are fully trained in ADR regulations.
