About Us: A Family's Passion for Food and Service
Established in August 2005 by Chris and Abby Ascough, Ascough's has become a beloved dining destination for both locals and visitors alike. Our tastefully decorated 80-cover restaurant is spread across two floors, providing an intimate and welcoming atmosphere for any occasion. Our location in the heart of Market Harborough offers easy access to nearby car parks, ensuring a hassle-free dining experience.
Our family-run business takes immense pride in serving dishes made from scratch, using local suppliers such as Joseph Morris Butchers, Collins Fresh Produce, Waistcoat Wine, Emerson & West, The Langton Brewery, and Duncan Murray Wines. From bread and biscuits to ice creams and sorbets, we produce everything in-house, including our very own Ascough's Gin.

Our Tasting Menu and accompanying Wine Pairings allow you to indulge in a gourmet experience that will excite your senses. Moreover, our menus change monthly, allowing you to enjoy fresh and new dishes whenever you visit.
At Ascough's, we strive to provide a welcoming dining experience for all. However, due to space constraints, we kindly ask that you leave young children with a sitter. This request enables us to maintain a pleasant and uninterrupted experience for all our guests.

- Lunch and Dinner Parties: Whether you're planning a celebratory meal, a family gathering, or an intimate wedding breakfast, Ascough's can accommodate up to 12 guests. Our specially crafted 3-course Lunch and Dinner Party Menus for reservations of 8 or more diners offer an enjoyable and affordable dining experience.
- Bookings: We accept bookings from Tuesday to Saturday, between 11:45 am and 1:15 pm for lunch, and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm for dinner.
- Gift Vouchers: Ascough's gift vouchers make the perfect present for a loved one, offering a unique and memorable dining experience.
