Welcome to Bootleg Social, Blackpool's premier alternative music bar and live venue. We're an independently owned and run late bar and live music venue located in the heart of Blackpool town centre. Our aim is to bring together good people, good music, good beer, and good times in a friendly and relaxed environment.
Our Story
Bootleg Social opened its doors in December 2014 with the vision of creating an alternative music venue, nightspot, and creative space for local residents and like-minded visitors to the area. Over the years, we've worked tirelessly to establish ourselves as a hub for local talent and creativity, offering a platform for emerging artists to showcase their skills. Our commitment to providing an eclectic range of music events, craft beers, and cocktails has made us the go-to destination for music lovers in Blackpool.
Our Services
At Bootleg Social, we're proud to offer a unique and diverse range of services that cater to the needs of our customers. From live music events featuring both local and national acts to themed nights and club events, we've got something for everyone. Our bar boasts an impressive selection of craft beers and cocktails, carefully curated to complement our music programming. We're also available for private hire, making us the perfect venue for birthdays, weddings, and corporate events.
Venue Specifications
Our venue has a capacity of 330, with a small storage room that can be used as a backstage area for performers. We also have a flat above the venue that sleeps up to 8 people, making it the perfect accommodation for touring bands. Our technical specifications include up-to-date sound and lighting equipment, as well as Wi-Fi and loading/parking facilities.

While our basement location presents some challenges, we're happy to offer a range of services to accommodate customers with disabilities, including queue jump, reserved seating, and free +1 tickets for personal assistants.
