Sandhurst Nursery School

Sandhurst Nursery School is a small, charity-run nursery school located in the heart of Sandhurst, within the grounds of Sandhurst Primary School in Kent. We pride ourselves on creating a friendly, warm, and creative atmosphere in which children can thrive. Our nursery school is designed to provide a happy and safe home-from-home environment where children, parents, carers, and visitors feel welcome.

Our Mission

Our aim is to provide a stimulating, positive learning environment that identifies ways to improve our service continually. We value our parent partnerships and believe this is a vital part in providing the care for all children. We want to provide all children an opportunity to learn through play with the support and attention to grow and develop at their own unique pace.

Our Services

We accommodate children from ages 12 months to 5 years and offer term-time only childcare. Our nursery school is open from Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, with flexible hours to suit all needs of parents, carers, and children. We provide a safe and secure setting for all children in a modern building with a wide variety of equipment for different needs.

Our Facilities

Our nursery school has two lovely nursery rooms and two outdoor play areas within the grounds of Sandhurst Primary School. We have a Butterfly Room, Cocoon Room, and Caterpillar Room, each designed to provide a stimulating and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. Our outdoor play areas are perfect for children to explore and develop their gross motor skills.

Our Team

Our team of experienced and qualified staff are dedicated to providing a high-quality service for the local community. We believe in ongoing training and development to ensure our staff are up-to-date with the latest childcare practices and procedures. Our staff are passionate about providing a happy and safe environment for all children, and we are proud of our "Good" Ofsted rating.

Fundraising and Community Involvement

We believe in involving parents and the local community in our fundraising efforts. We have a variety of fundraising events and activities throughout the year, and we are always looking for new ideas and ways to get involved. We believe this helps to sustain the strong community feel of our Nursery group and may be why we recently celebrated our 40th anniversary.
