Meet the Team
Carol Hutchins, the founder of The Lady and the Tramp, started the business 30 years ago in the rear of her garage. With a passion for dogs and grooming, Carol has grown the business into the successful salon it is today. She holds the prestigious qualification "International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG)" and is proud to share her vast knowledge and skills with her team. Carol and her team are all fully qualified in Canine First Aid and are committed to perfecting their skills and staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and equipment. When not at the salon, Carol can be found spending time with her beloved "Parcheeni" Standard Poodles, a breed she fell in love with when she needed a dog to practice her grooming skills on. The Parcheeni Poodles are successful in the UK Kennel Club Championship show ring, and Carol is passed by the UK Kennel Club to judge at Championship level.
Victoria Clasper joined The Lady and the Tramp team in 2020 with a Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds Diploma in Dog Grooming, both with distinctions. She is a Certified Canine First Aider and has attended numerous educational canine seminars, specializing in "Doodles" or Poodle crosses. Victoria runs her own grooming business in Newent and is excited to be a part of the Lady and the Tramp team, where she can experience different breeds and undertake high-end grooms.
Sophie Roberts has been grooming since 2014, completing her Level 2 & 3 City & Guilds Dog Grooming diplomas at Hartpury College while working in a popular Cotswold Salon as a grooming assistant. She started a mobile dog grooming business, which she loved running for three years. Sophie is thrilled to be a part of the Lady and the Tramp team, where she can pursue her passion for grooming and be a part of a supportive and fun team.
Our amazing team also includes Dani, our prep girl, who does a first-class job bathing and drying all the dogs. Her hard work and dedication enable our stylists to do wonderful grooms on every dog that comes through our doors.
At The Lady and the Tramp, we are a team that believes in the importance of the well-being of all dogs in our care. We are dedicated to providing the best possible grooming experience for every dog and their owner, and we take great pride in our work.
