The Wycliffe Guest House

At The Wycliffe Guest House, we pride ourselves on providing a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests. Our beautifully maintained Victorian guest house is situated in its own gardens, offering private off-road parking, a rare find in the area. Over the years, we have tastefully modernized the building to provide clean and comfortable accommodation while still retaining many of its original features.

Our Story

Our guest house is managed by Trevor and Sharon Macdonald, who offer a warm and hospitable welcome to all guests, whether staying for a short break or looking for longer-term residence while working in the area. We are on hand to assist with information on local eateries and places of interest in the area. We are fully compliant with the requirements of the Food Standards Agency, the Health and Safety Executive, Kent Fire Service, local and national government, and insurance agencies.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to ensure our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Our room features include a hospitality tray with a selection of hot beverages, flat-screen digital TV with freeview, free Wi-Fi, and toiletries. We also offer a baggage store, bar lounge, BBQ/picnic area, laundry facilities, plug adapters, and daily housekeeping. Our dining room serves a variety of breakfast options, including continental, cooked, English/Irish, healthy, vegetarian, and vegan options. We cater to guests with special dietary requirements and offer a to-go breakfast option for those in a hurry.

Our Commitment

We are committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our guests. We operate a non-smoking policy throughout the building, but do have facilities to accommodate smokers outside in our private garden. We are also fully compliant with all COVID-19 secure policies and protocols to ensure the safety of our guests.
