Trust us to care for your furry friends

At Dunnydeer Veterinary Group, we pride ourselves on providing top-notch veterinary care to our clients in Aberdeenshire and beyond. With a team of 14 dedicated professionals, including vets, nurses, and reception staff, we are committed to delivering exceptional service and care to our patients, whether they be small animals, farm animals, or equine friends.

Our History

Our veterinary practice has a rich history in the Insch area, dating back over 100 years. From McIntosh and Partners to Clemo and Partners, and then Russell and Wood, our current partnership of Aileen MacArthur and Chris Solomon was established in 2008. Over the years, we have continued to grow and expand, moving to our current state-of-the-art facility at Muirhead House in Insch Business Park. This move has enabled us to cater to the growing local pet population, as well as our well-established farming community.

Our Services

We are a first-opinion practice, offering a wide range of services to our clients. Our small animal services include consultations, vaccinations, microscopy, and surgery, all carried out by our team of experienced vets and nurses. Our farm animal services cover approximately 900 square miles of Aberdeenshire, providing essential care to livestock and farm animals. Our equine services include dental care, vaccinations, and routine health checks, as well as 24-hour emergency cover provided by our own vets.

Our Team

Our dedicated team of vets, nurses, and reception staff strive to treat all pets with empathy and cater to their individual needs. We have a team of four full-time vets who share the on-call rota, as well as three part-time vets who specialize in small pet medicine and surgery. Our three nurses provide a first-class service for our clients and their pets, and our reception staff are always happy to assist with any queries or concerns.

Our Philosophy

At Dunnydeer Veterinary Group, we believe that preventative medicine is of utmost importance. We continually endeavour to develop our skills and stay up-to-date with emerging diseases and control policies. We understand that every pet is unique and requires individualized care, which is why we take the time to listen to our clients' concerns and tailor our services to meet their specific needs.
