Empowering You to Take Control of Your Wellbeing

Roe Green Tennis Club, a friendly and picturesque establishment, was founded in 1923 and has since grown to include 3 artificial grass courts and a thriving membership. As an active member of the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association), we are committed to offering a fully inclusive membership to all, warmly welcoming new members to join our community.

Our club operates a full calendar of sporting and social activities, with 6 teams participating in the Bolton and Walkden Leagues each week during the tennis season. These teams include male, female, and mixed categories, offering opportunities for all to engage in competitive tennis. Members are welcome to use the courts at any time, provided no other arranged activities are taking place.

We take pride in catering to a wide range of ages and abilities, promoting an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy tennis and participate in social activities at their preferred level. Our calendar includes well-attended popular coaching sessions as well as ample social tennis for players of all standards.

Our Sat Nav location is Greenleach Lane, Worsley M28 2QW, and there are two parking options available: Beesley Green Community Centre or Roe Green Cricket Club Car Park. The club is situated behind the Cricket Club Pavilion and the Community Centre Bowling Green.

Safeguarding

Roe Green Tennis Club is dedicated to prioritising the well-being of all children and adults at risk. We strive to promote safeguarding in our club at all times, across all programmes and events we run. Our club's safeguarding policy aligns with the LTA's guidance, ensuring a safe and positive tennis experience for everyone. To access our Safeguarding Policy, please click here.

Additionally, the club has Committee members who are qualified by the LTA in safeguarding issues. This ensures that we can effectively minimise risk, respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns and disclosures, and deliver a positive experience for everyone involved.
