Our Bar
At the heart of the Ye Olde White Harte Inn is our well-stocked bar, offering a wide selection of local ales, ciders, gins, spirits, and other drinks. Our bar is naturally divided into three distinct areas, each with its own unique character and atmosphere. The main bar area is perfect for people watching, with large windows overlooking the quay, while the snug bar at the rear of the building is the perfect spot for a quiet drink with friends. A separate room off the main bar is ideal for families, with plenty of space for children to play.
Our bar serves food throughout the building, including our large separate Chartroom. This area, decorated with old charts of the Essex coast, is the main dining area of the inn and can seat up to 35 people in normal times. With a large hearth, exposed beams, and brass ornaments, it's the perfect spot for a relaxing meal with friends or family. We welcome well-behaved dogs in all our bar areas, making the Ye Olde White Harte Inn the perfect spot for a family day out.

We pride ourselves on serving fresh, locally sourced food, with our menu featuring a range of traditional pub classics as well as a selection of more adventurous dishes. Our bar menu includes a range of sandwiches, snacks, and light bites, while our main menu features a range of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes.
