Our Company History

Founded by the late Norman Smith Richardson, a highly respected engineer of his time, our company has been built on a strong foundation of expertise and dedication. Over the years, we have expanded our services and invested in the latest machinery and skills to enrich the quality of service that we can provide. Today, we are proud to be a limited company since 2007 with directors Ian and Mark at the helm, supported by a small but dedicated team of engineers in the factory, and Hazel in the office.

Our services include traditional milling and turning, as well as the latest CNC machinery, CAD CAM design, and reverse engineering using CMM technology. We understand the importance of quality and traceability, and therefore only use suppliers who can originate and source materials that can match our own highly rated quality assured system, certified to ISO 9001:2015.

Our Machinery

Our machinery services include CNC Milling, including 4th Axis, CNC Turning, CAD-CAM Milling, Turning, Sawing, Drilling, and Broaching. We have a range of high-quality machinery, including VMC: Doosan DNM 650 with Nikken 4th Axis, Doosan DNM 5700 Matchmaker, VMC 1000 Dugard Lunan 500A, and CNC lathes: Doosan Puma GT2100, Mazak Quickturn 28, Mazak Quickturn 10, Hyundia HiT 28, and Mori Seiki SL-35. Our capacity is high enough for most engineering work, and we are confident that we can meet your requirements.
