About Us
Little Cherubs Nursery was opened in October 2000 by owner Sally Wright, and has since become a trusted and respected nursery in the West Byfleet area. Our manager, Elaine Baston, has been leading the team since August 2011, and holds a First-Class BA Hons in Early Childhood Studies. We are governed by Ofsted, and our most recent inspection in May 2023 resulted in an overall good rating.
Parental Experience
As a first-time parents, finding the right daycare for our 1-year-old daughter was paramount. Little Cherubs Day Nursery near West Byfleet station has been the perfect fit for our family over the past 5 months. Despite being a small nursery, its intimate setting has proven to be a huge positive. The dedicated floor for babies under 18 months provides a nurturing environment, and our daughter has thrived in this group. Elaine, who runs the nursery, initially gave us a tour and immediately impressed us with her professionalism and warmth. Her confidence in her team reassured us that we were making the right choice. The staff at Little Cherubs are simply wonderful. Our daughter was understandably apprehensive at first, but Leanda and Lindsay, the amazing ladies in the baby room, were incredibly welcoming and patient. Thanks to their care, she quickly adjusted and now happily spends 4 days a week at the nursery. We've seen remarkable progress in our daughter's development. Her motor skills, vocabulary, singing, and confidence have all flourished. She used to be nervous around new adults and children, but now she interacts and plays with ease. One feature we particularly appreciate is the nursery's app, which provides daily updates on her sleep, meals, and toilet times. The team also shares photos of her activities and writes detailed monthly reports on her development.
