Welcome to Blackdown Pre-school, a warm and friendly pre-school based in the heart of Deepcut, Surrey. We are passionate about supporting local families with the daily work-life juggle and providing excellent care for your loved ones. Our team of dedicated professionals fill children's days with fun and inspiring learning experiences and the simple joys of childhood. As a small pre-school of no more than 30 children, we pride ourselves on building strong relationships with both the children and their families, working together to ensure the children develop to their full potential.
Our History
For over 25 years, families like yours have trusted us to provide exceptional early years care and education. We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage guidelines which means we are dedicated to allowing children to learn through play, in a rich and safe environment. Your little one will be given the best start in life, as we nurture their love of learning, preparing them for school and beyond.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to support our families, including morning and afternoon sessions, full-day sessions, and an optional breakfast club. We charge a competitive rate of 6.50 per hour, with a one-time 20 administration fee. We accept all employer childcare vouchers and tax-free childcare, and offer 15 and 30 hours funded education. We don't ask for a top-up fee.
Our Facilities
We are proud of our outstanding care facilities, which include a specially-tailored curriculum, individual care and attention with great adult-to-child ratios, the support of an individual, assigned key person, and opportunities for you and your family to be directly involved in the education of your child.
Our Team
Our highly-skilled team are passionate about their role within the pre-school, many of whom have been a part of the staff for over a decade. Each member of staff has gone through the relevant criminal records check (DBS) and undergo a thorough six month induction. All staff are also Paediatric First Aid trained, with full Level 3 childcare qualifications.
A Typical Day
A typical day at Blackdown Pre-school starts at 8am with our optional breakfast club, followed by the arrival of morning and afternoon session children. Our experienced staff provide a range of activities, including free play, rolling snack, adult-led activities, and garden time, designed to engage and inspire our children.
