At Beardsworths Ltd, we take pride in being one of the largest wholesale nurseries in the UK, specialising in growing hardy trees, shrubs, perennials, and hedging. Our garden centre, located near Junction 26, M62, is easily accessible from Leeds, Bradford, Huddersfield, and Halifax. We have been in the industry for over 30 years, supplying high-quality nursery stock to the landscape trade, local authorities, golf clubs, voluntary bodies, and schools.
Our Services
Our wholesale nurseries are spread across three sites around the Cleckheaton area of West Yorkshire. We offer a diverse range of nursery stock, including container-grown trees, shrubs, hedging, and perennials, as well as field-grown trees, transplants, and topiary. We are happy to arrange delivery to site nationwide, with staged deliveries available for larger projects.
Our experienced and knowledgeable staff are always happy to help with any query, whether it's providing advice on planting schemes or scheduling deliveries. We also provide a monthly trade newsletter and availability list, which can be subscribed to via our website.
Our Nurseries
Our container unit at Whitehall Road is where we produce the majority of our container-grown trees, shrubs, hedging, and perennials. We have an annual production run of over 300,000 plants in sizes ranging from 1 to 200 litre pots. Our in-house propagation team is always looking for new cultivars to complement our diverse range of stock.
At Brick Hill Farm, we grow the majority of our trees, specimen hedging, and topiary. We have been supplying trees to the UK amenity market for over 30 years and grow a full range of trees from feathered whips through to rootballed semi-matures.
Hartshead Nurseries is used for a diverse range of production, including growing raspberry canes and blackberries, forestry transplants, and propagating ornamental trees by budding. We also have a small container unit here used mostly for producing specialty plants.
