Flowers are love's most true language
The Foodservice Packaging Association (FPA) is the representative voice of the foodservice packaging industry, working tirelessly to secure the future of the sector. As a leading trade association, we promote the responsible manufacture, sourcing, distribution, usage, and disposal of food and foodservice packaging. Our members come from across the supply chain, including raw materials suppliers, manufacturers and converters, distributors and wholesalers, foodservice and hospitality operators, and waste collectors and recyclers.
Our Mission
We engage with central and devolved governments, government committees, NGOs, other trade associations, and relevant bodies to ensure our members' voices are heard. Our work involves international, national, regional, and local government liaison, as well as keeping our members informed through our annual Environment Conference, regular webinars, and our weekly news Digest. We also provide ample opportunities for our members to network with each other through our annual Awards, lunch, and various events.
Material Neutrality
We believe all packaging materials have a role to play in our industry, and we represent the interests of all our members, who play a full part in the circular economy. Our material-neutral approach allows us to work with a wide range of stakeholders to promote sustainable packaging solutions.
Governance
The FPA has an Executive Chairman elected by our members, a governing board, an Executive Director appointed by the board, and committees that report to the Board covering key areas. This enables a broad section of members to participate in the running of the Association.
Our Code of Practice
All FPA members abide by our Code of Practice and the FPA Packaging Charter. This is the cornerstone of membership and signals that a business operates to the highest of standards. Buying from an FPA member is a responsible purchasing decision.
