We offer a wide range of services that are designed to keep your bike in top condition. Our services include:

Servicing

Regular servicing is essential to keep your bike running smoothly and safely. Here at The Cycle Mechanic, we are happy to help with even minor repairs and problems. Our servicing options include:

• Basic Service: Our Basic Service starts from 30 and includes a pre-assessment and safety check, drive-train cleaned and chain lubed, all cables checked and lubed, brake and gears aligned and set up, bearings checked for wear, all bolts checked and torqued, and tyres inflated.
• Middle Service: Our Middle Service starts from 70 and includes everything in our Basic Service, as well as headset or BB stripped, cleaned and greased, tyres inflated and wheels trued in jig.
• The Big One: Our Big One service starts from 110 and includes a full strip-down, MOT, and rebuild. We will strip down your bike completely, clean and check all parts for wear, re-grease, refit, and rebuild it with new cables and casings throughout. We will then give you an assessment of all parts and advisories of any wear or extra work needed before giving it a full safety check before returning it to you.

Mechanical Repairs

We are skilled professionals when it comes to mechanical repairs. We can carry out diagnostics, full mechanical repairs, parts servicing, and replacements for tyres, brakes, gears, chains, wheels, suspension, and frames. We can also source a wide range of new parts from top brands such as Shimano and SRAM.

• Bottom bracket stripped, cleaned, and rebuilt: 20 + parts
• Headset stripped, cleaned, greased, and rebuilt: 20 + parts
• Front wheel bearing service/replacement: 10
• Rear wheel bearing service/replacement: 15
• Single hydraulic brake service: 30
• Rear suspension/swing arm bearing service: 40 + parts

Workshop Details

Our workshop is the turquoise-coloured garage at the back of the property located at 18 Jubilee Street, Newquay, Cornwall TR7 1LA. We are available between 09:30 - 16:30, Monday to Friday, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. We offer a collection and delivery service, so please call us to enquire.
