Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to cater to the unique needs of our residents. Our residential care home, Corton House, provides 42 beds and offers a comprehensive range of care services, including personal care, medication management, and social activities. Our independent living complex, Brakendon Close, consists of flats and bungalows, providing a perfect blend of independence and support for those who require it.

Our History

Corton House was established over 70 years ago, following a public appeal from the Free Church Council. As the first purpose-built voluntary run care home for older people in England, we were hailed as a pioneer in social care. Today, we continue to operate as a not-for-profit organization, with our Christian ethos of kindness and caring for one another underpinning all that we do.

Our Team

Our team consists of 60 dedicated staff members, including qualified professionals, care supervisors, and volunteers. We believe in providing ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance our team's knowledge and skills, ensuring that they are equipped to provide exceptional care and support to our residents.
