A Passion for Music and Guitar Teaching
Music has always held a special place in my heart. From a young age, I was captivated by the magic of the guitar and its boundless potential to express emotions. Over the past four decades, I have been fortunate enough to immerse myself in the world of music, honing my skills on this remarkable instrument.
My formal musical training began later in life, but my passion for music started long before that. Influenced by legends like Judas Priest and Black Sabbath, I developed a deep appreciation for classic rock and metal. As my musical horizons expanded, I explored diverse styles, embracing the blues influences of Billy Gibbons and the technical prowess of players like Alex Skolnick.

In 2011, I established Avondale Guitar Tuition from my home studio in St. Georges Road, Winsford. My mission is to share my love for music and empower aspiring guitarists of all ages and skill levels. I firmly believe that learning an instrument should be a positive and enjoyable experience, tailored to each individual's needs and aspirations.

Throughout my teaching career, I have had the privilege of guiding students through their musical journeys. My passion and dedication are reflected in my qualifications, which include a Nationwide Music Examinations Diploma of Associate Membership and a BTEC National Diploma in Music Practice. I hold an Enhanced DBS check and have undergone thorough training in safeguarding young people and vulnerable adults.
