Established for over 30 years, Rowan Garden Centre has undergone extensive renovations since its acquisition by Alison in 2010. The site, located just outside Chalfont St Giles, is now home to clear, spacious greenhouses and large polytunnels, housing a wide variety of plants and gardening products. Our location, near Amersham, Beaconsfield, Gerrards Cross, Uxbridge, and Rickmansworth, allows us to deliver our products with a personal touch to customers in and around Buckinghamshire.
Our Plant Collections
At Rowan Garden Centre, we take great pride in our plant collections. We are dedicated to offering an extensive range of plants, shrubs, and perennials, all competitively priced and in peak condition for transfer to your garden. The vast majority of our stock is UK-grown, and we carefully select our growers to ensure the highest quality. Our plants are lovingly nurtured on-site, with knowledgeable staff always at hand to assist with plant selection and horticultural queries.

The Rowan Cafe
Our on-site cafe, Rowan Cafe, is open Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm and Sundays from 10 am to 4 pm. The outdoor area of the cafe welcomes dogs and treats are available for our canine friends. We offer a range of hot and cold beverages, homemade cakes, and light bites, making it the perfect spot to relax and refuel during your visit.
Visiting Rowan Garden Centre
Situated near the Chiltern Open Air Museum, we are just ten minutes from Rickmansworth, 20 minutes from Uxbridge, 25 minutes from Watford, and around 40 minutes from West London. Our garden centre is easily accessible by car, and we have ample parking on-site.
