SEA Transport is a privately owned and operated company, established since the year 2000. We have built a reputation for providing our customers with a complete logistics solution in a service-focused environment. Our directors and staff have a wealth of experience in the maritime container and UK distribution markets, and we bring a real passion and energy to our business.

Container Transport

Our UK haulage delivery service is completely flexible for your UK road haulage delivery needs. With our own warehousing in Ipswich, right by the A14 and A12, we have access to the Port of Felixstowe within 10 minutes, the whole of the east of England, and gateway London and Tilbury docks, Essex in 90 minutes. We are well suited to working in various environments, from one-off deliveries to providing 'in-house' staff and consultancy.

Our company is user-friendly, and we enjoy good working relationships with other hauliers. We fit easily in 'multi haulier' arrangements, working alongside other suppliers for the benefit of the customer. We have our own fleet with employed drivers, and we have a very family-oriented feel to our business. Our modern vehicle delivery fleet consists of 44-tonne plated container delivery vehicles, and our drivers have card i.d. access to all UK container terminals. We offer high service levels, and each individual transport move is monitored through to arrival.

Warehousing and Distribution

Our warehousing in Ipswich provides a range of services for our customers. We offer short and long-term storage solutions, with container devanning, palletising, and shrink wrapping services available. We can pick and pack orders, and our transport team can deliver goods directly to our customers' end-users. Our warehouse team can also provide quality control inspections and stock management services.

Technology

At SEA Transport, we believe in using the latest technology to improve our services. We have been using Truckcom for over two years, and it has helped us take our business to the next level. Truckcom offers a fully-featured transport management system, electronic POD, tracking, and vehicle checks.

Driver CPC Training

We offer Driver CPC training to help our drivers stay up-to-date with the latest regulations and best practices. Our training program includes classroom and practical training, and we offer flexible training schedules to suit our drivers' needs.
