Before joining the family business in 2005, Charles worked in UK and European transport in senior roles with DHL/Securicor and Russell Davies. His commercial experience and dynamic vision for a business built on high-quality services and an Active Ethos, which encourages growth, have been instrumental in driving the development and success of the company. Charles holds a BSc (Econ) from the London School of Economics and an IOD Diploma in Company Direction.
*Edward Downie, Director*
Edward has been with the family business for over thirty years and was appointed Director in 2003. He is passionate about operations and oversees the day-to-day activities of the fleet, personnel, and compliance. Edward's unique understanding and appreciation for people, especially our drivers, led to the creation of our unparalleled Driver Support Unit.
