Incident at the Sailing Club
It appears that one reviewer, Jay, had a negative experience at the sailing club. The club's owner allegedly accused Jay and their deaf cousins of smoking on the property and vandalism, despite having no evidence. Jay offered to be searched and to check cameras to prove their innocence, but the owner refused, making derogatory comments about their appearance and lifestyle.
General Impression
On the other hand, the majority of reviewers have praised the sailing club for its stunning setting, friendly atmosphere, and supportive staff. Reviewers have reported feeling welcome and encouraged, even as beginners.
Sailing Experiences
Several reviewers have shared their positive experiences with the sailing club's programs. Simon Heath's 7-year-old daughter participated in the Saturday sailors program and had a great time sailing on her own for the first time. Simon himself enjoyed his first race with his daughter as crew. Alison Chester-Lambert, a complete beginner, felt nervous at first but received excellent support and guidance from the staff, eventually earning a certificate and gaining confidence in her sailing abilities.
