Founded in October 1891, our golf club has established itself as a premier sporting institution in the North East of England. Originally located at Town Moor, we relocated to our current site at Grange Farm in 1907, where our course was designed by Harry Vardon and later enhanced by Alister MacKenzie in 1913. Our historic 18-hole course retains much of its original design philosophy while maintaining modern standards, regularly hosting county and national golf events.The clubhouse provides exceptional facilities including panoramic viewing areas, private function spaces for weddings and corporate events, and fully equipped meeting rooms.
