Our association is conveniently located near the heart of Wellingborough town, offering a cosy and friendly environment for individuals who appreciate high-quality food and drinks. While you don't have to be a member to enjoy our services, we do offer membership options for those who wish to take advantage of our exclusive benefits.
Our headquarters on Oxford Street boasts a spacious function room that can accommodate up to 40-70 guests, making it an ideal venue for parties and small weddings. We also have a large function room at our Memorial Sports Ground on Sywell Road, which can comfortably accommodate around 70-150 guests, perfect for weddings or corporate events.
Sports and Sections
At the Wellingborough Old Grammarians Association, we offer a range of sports and sections that cater to various interests. Our sports facilities include football, rugby, cricket, and tennis, among others. Our sections include the Old Grammarians' Association, Old Grammarians' Football Club, Old Grammarians' Rugby Club, Old Grammarians' Cricket Club, and Old Grammarians' Tennis Club, to name a few.
Membership
Becoming a member of the Wellingborough Old Grammarians Association has its perks. Members can enjoy discounts on food and drinks, free room hire for functions, and access to exclusive events. To become a member, simply fill out our membership form and pay the annual fee.
Food and Drink
Our food menu offers a variety of dishes that cater to different tastes and dietary requirements. From classic pub fare to more sophisticated dishes, we have something for everyone. Our drinks menu includes a selection of beers, wines, spirits, and soft drinks, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
We can cater to groups, clubs, and societies of all sizes and can arrange a bespoke menu for your group. Our kitchen opening times are as follows:

Venue Hire
Our function rooms are available for hire for various events, such as weddings, parties, and corporate events. Sportsfield at Sywell Road
Our Sportsfield at Sywell Road offers a variety of food and drinks, including pies, sausage rolls, soups, Bovril, crisps, and chocolate, which are available from the bar. We have various sporting fixtures on weekends, so come along and show your support. You can stay up to date with these by joining our mailing list.
