Our Story
In June 2017, Ian and Linda Dunkerley celebrated 30 years in business as proprietors of Dunkerley's award-winning hotel and restaurant in Deal, Kent. The Dunkerley family roots are firmly embedded in Deal's rich maritime history. 'The Signal Man' hotel room is named after Ian Dunkerley's grandfather, who spent 36 years as a local lifeboat man.
Our Services
At Dunkerley's Restaurant and Hotel, we offer a range of services to ensure that your stay with us is comfortable and enjoyable. Our restaurant serves mouth-watering cuisine, including fresh local seafood, and an extensive choice of fine wines. Our bar is open for breakfast every day from 8am - 11.30am and for main meals 12pm - 2.30pm and 6pm to 9.30pm daily. We also have a wonderful terrace where you can soak up the sunshine and take in the sea air.
Our hotel offers comfortable and spacious accommodation, with ensuite bathroom, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, Internet access, tea/coffee-making facilities, hairdryer, trouser press, and newspapers. A delicious breakfast awaits you in the morning, and our staff are always happy to assist with any plans you may have for the day ahead.
