St Michaels Homes Ltd is a family-run company that has been providing compassionate care for the elderly since 1991. Our two care homes, Howard Lodge and Dudbrook House, are situated adjacent to each other in the picturesque village of Kelvedon Common on the outskirts of Brentwood. Surrounded by the beautiful Essex countryside, our homes are nestled in park-like gardens, which are home to abundant wildlife, including deer.

Our company is led by Sheila Watson, a registered nurse, midwife, and health advisor to the elderly, who has obtained a diploma in gerontology. With over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Sheila has instilled a culture of care that is reflected in the way our residents are treated by all staff members. We believe that loneliness and feeling like a burden are significant issues that affect many elderly people, and we strive to provide support, companionship, and strong bonds of friendship to all our residents.

Dudbrook House
