Christian Care Homes Cedar House

Christian Care Homes had humble beginnings, rooted in the vision of a young nurse named Mico Bienvenu in the summer of 1982. Mico was compelled to establish a residential home for the elderly, focusing on providing care and support to people of all faiths and backgrounds. The ethos of Christian Care Homes is grounded in promoting independence, choice, respect, privacy, and dignity for its residents. The first residential home, Oak House, was established in 1989, followed by Beech House in 1992. The organization's growth continued with the opening of St. Paul's House in Mauritius in 2008, which boasts modern facilities and accommodates 24 couples and 16 single people.

Christian Care Homes offers a wide range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of each resident. These services include:

1. Residential Care - Our homes provide a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for elderly residents, offering support and care 24 hours a day.

2. Dementia Care - We are experienced in providing care for residents with dementia, ensuring their safety and promoting their quality of life through person-centered care.

3. Social and Medical Care - Our staff works closely with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for each resident, addressing both their social and medical needs.

Cedar House

Cedar House, opened in October 2012, is a purpose-built care home that caters to the comfort and needs of our older residents and those with dementia. With spacious rooms and specialized facilities, Cedar House offers a secure and welcoming environment where residents can maintain their independence and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle. The home has received positive assessments from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), highlighting its strong leadership, dedicated staff, and high-quality care.

St. Paul's House

Situated in the tropical island of Mauritius, St. Paul's House is our largest care home, offering 24 double and 16 single bedrooms with en-suite facilities. The home features open colonnades, an open sunroof, a covered roof area, and beautiful gardens, creating a serene atmosphere for relaxation and socialization. St. Paul's House offers a peaceful chapel for personal reflection and a wide variety of activities, fostering a strong sense of community.
