Our journey began as a specialist removal company for the American military based locally, and over the years, we have grown and diversified to offer a comprehensive range of services, including domestic removals, storage, and European haulage.
Today, we have a workforce of 95 people, mostly based in Suffolk, with a smaller team in Northamptonshire. We operate a fleet of 50 modern vehicles, all driven by our professionally trained drivers. Our main base in Mildenhall, Suffolk, is home to a team of friendly and experienced staff, who are dedicated to making your move as stress-free as possible. With decades of expertise in-house, we have the knowledge, contacts, and complementary services to cover every eventuality.
As members of the British Association of Removers, we are audited annually to ensure that we conform to its stringent code of practice and high professional standards. We are also members of the IAM and ISO9000 accredited.
Home Removals and Domestic Removals
Whether you are moving within East Anglia or to any destination across the UK, from London to Scotland, we can help to take the stress out of the experience. We provide boxes and packing materials for self-packing but can also pack for you if you prefer. We will quote for any move and you can also use our online estimator to get an initial free quotation.
European Removals
We have many years of experience in organising house and business moves to Germany, France, Italy, and other destinations across Europe. We provide a detailed pre-move quote and transport your goods by road in our own fleet.
International Removals
Our international removals service offers long-distance removals to countries around the world, including international shipping to Australia, New Zealand, and the USA. We transport items by sea, working with only the best international carriers and help you with the necessary paperwork.
Military Removals
Safepac is the leading military removals company for US forces within Europe, in addition to having many decades of experience in arranging removals for the UK armed forces. We bring the same expertise and precision to domestic moves as we do to military removals overseas.
Containers and Container Shipping
Our UK and European container transport services give us the ability to collect containers with our own fleet and distribute them straight to any destination.
Storage
As well as our haulage and removals services, we also have extensive warehousing at our site in Mildenhall for the secure storage of small domestic items or the complete contents of your home. Our sister firm, Homestore Ltd, offers self-storage in its premises in Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich, with a range of room sizes, all of which benefit from CCTV, alarms, security systems and 24-hour access.
