Linda Payne's expertise lies in the importation of motor vehicles. She was present at the inception of the trade in 'grey imports' of motor vehicles. Over the past two decades, she has nurtured and developed this major trade, a sector in which Penguin Shipping continues to lead. On the other hand, Alan Biggs has a strong background in the importation of American cars. His early career was marked by his handling of Customs clearance of used American cars and becoming the Customs clearance agent in the UK for American Motors, which owned the Jeep Corporation.
