Achieving Goals Together, Promoting Personal Centred Care
At Christ The King Residential Care Homes, we are dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to our Service Users, promoting recovery and independence in a safe and homely environment. We comply with all relevant regulations and legislation, including the Care Quality Commission Regulations, Care Act 2014, and Local Authority governance, to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care. Our approach is centred on traditional values that enhance the Quality of Life for all Service Users, creating a relaxed, supportive, and enjoyable atmosphere.
Residential Day Care
A permanent stay in our care home is not always required when a relative needs care and assistance. Our day-time part-residential care allows us to provide care and support during the day, enabling family members and carers to have a break or attend to other responsibilities. Our Service Users can benefit from social interaction, activities, and companionship, as well as practical and personal support.
Supported Living
We offer supported living services for those who require a pleasant living atmosphere with effective care and support. Our rooms and flats are furnished to the latest standards, promoting happiness, well-being, and a sense of community. We provide personalised care and support plans, tailored to the individual needs and preferences of our Service Users, promoting independence and community integration.
Short-Term Care
What happens to your beloved relative when your family is away, the carer is unwell, or when it is not possible to look after him or her for a short period of time for some other reason? Our short-term care service provides a safe and caring environment for your relative, ensuring their needs are met, and providing peace of mind for you. Our staff are trained to handle a range of complex needs and are committed to providing the best possible care.
Paying for Care
Paying for care is based on individual circumstances. We believe that everyone has the right to a high standard of care, and some people are able to receive contributions from their local authority or other sources. We work with our Service Users and their families to find the best possible funding solutions, ensuring that they receive the care and support they need and deserve.
Our Approach: Holistic Centred Care
At Christ The King Residential Care Homes, we take a holistic approach to care, focusing on the whole person and their individual needs, preferences, and aspirations. Our experienced NVQ Support Workers, Team Leaders, Deputy Managers, and Registered Manager provide a range of practical and personal support services, promoting independence, community integration, and quality of life.
We provide holistic care and assistance, supporting our Service Users with the challenges of everyday life, such as personal care and practical support with light domestic duties, shopping and cleaning. We also provide support in meeting community integration needs, supporting our Service Users to access resources in the local community.
We provide more compound care following diagnosis of Mental Health illness, Mental Health Hospital discharge, or long-term Residential Care Home move, and specialist community support for Mental Health conditions. By taking a Person Centred/ Holistic approach to care and understanding the needs of those we support, we are able to offer solutions which create pathways and structured rehab tools to our Service Users, their family members, and loved ones whilst meeting their personal objectives, desires, and aspirations.
In summary, our approach to care and support is holistic, person-centred, and focused on promoting recovery, independence, and quality of life. We provide a range of services, including residential day care, supported living, short-term care, and paying for care, tailored to the individual needs and preferences of our Service Users. Our experienced and dedicated staff are committed to providing the best possible care and support, promoting a homely environment, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all our Service Users.
