At Spring House, we are a family-run residential care home located in the picturesque village of Peter Tavy, Tavistock, Devon. Our home focuses on providing high-quality specialist care for those who suffer from various forms of dementia. We strive to create a warm, friendly environment that ensures independence, dignity, and individual choice for our residents.
Our Services
We offer a range of services and facilities to cater to the needs of our residents. Our home has 23 permanent beds, all of which have en-suite facilities, and 9 of which also have shower facilities. We have a sunny garden that is carefully laid out for residents to take full advantage of the summers, where afternoon teas can be enjoyed in the company of family and friends. We also offer Respite and Day Care facilities, subject to room availability.
Our Care
Our care services are designed to provide individualized attention to our residents. We have a team of carers with exceptional skill and understanding of their profession. We pride ourselves on having over 30 staff working shifts day and night, ensuring that our residents receive the care and attention they need. We prioritize the welfare of our residents, and our senior team works together to ensure that our standards remain high, staff are properly trained, and residents' welfare remains our number one priority.

We are proud to have received an "Outstanding Rating" in our most recent CQC inspection. Our residents and their families have praised our care, citing our warm and friendly environment, high-quality care, and exceptional staff. We believe that our dedication to providing exceptional care has earned us this outstanding rating, and we strive to continue delivering the highest level of care to our residents.
