Add colors to your life and live the way it is meant to be!
Welcome to Monifieth Golf Links, a historic golfing destination that has been serving golf enthusiasts for over 400 years. Our links courses have been enjoyed by every level of golfer, from seasoned professionals to keen amateurs. We are proud to have had the honour of hosting renowned golfers such as Tom Watson and Jean Van de Velde.
Our courses have been developed with the help of world-renowned architects Clayton, De Vries & Pont, and we continue to work towards providing the best golfing experience to our visitors. Monifieth Golf Links is an ideal golfing location for those playing at Carnoustie or St Andrews, as we are situated within easy travelling distance from these locations. Our clubhouses provide food and beverage for visitors on a rotational basis, making us a perfect destination for a day out or a short break.
Our Courses
We offer two 18-hole natural links courses, the Medal and the Ashludie. Our Medal course is a championship links course that has been used as a qualifying venue for the Seniors Open Championship in 2016 and the R&A Junior Open in 2022. With a railway, a meandering burn, heather, gorse, undulating fairways and sandy hillocks, the Medal course offers a challenging yet fair links experience. The Ashludie course, on the other hand, is shorter and trickier, making it an ideal course for short game experts.
We take pride in maintaining our courses in excellent condition, with greens that are fast and true, tees and fairways that are in great condition, and welcoming and helpful staff at our Pro Shop. Our visitors have praised the courses for the variety of shot-making required, the beautiful scenery, and the friendly and welcoming staff.
Facilities & Services
At Monifieth Golf Links, we offer a range of facilities and services to make your visit a memorable one. Our Pro Shop offers a wide variety of golfing equipment and apparel, and our reception, Links office and changing facilities are situated at the Monifieth Links Golf Centre, which sits between the two golf clubhouses - Grange & Broughty and Monifieth.
Visitors can enjoy food and beverage at the clubhouses on a rotational basis. Our staff are always on hand to provide any assistance required, and we have an emergency medical policy in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all golfers on our courses.
Medical Emergency Policy
In case of emergency or urgent medical assistance being required by any golfers on the courses, players should alert the emergency medical services before calling the emergency number on 07483 174778. Links staff will meet emergency services at the Medal Starters Box and direct them to the location on course where help is needed. If the defibrillator is requested, staff will endeavour, where possible, to transport this equipment to the scene.
