Quality design is the root and cornerstone of much of what we do. At North Star, we work with a carefully selected group of international, specialist POP and graphic designers, each bringing a detailed expertise and knowledge of a particular industry and retail sector. This enables us to allocate the most appropriate possible design resource to any given project, ensuring the best attention and outcome. We understand that innovative and functional design can only be born from a detailed and thorough project briefing. Therefore, we work diligently at this initial project stage to understand all the details, complexities, and aspirations of the project and reveal the qualities inherent to the solution.

Services: Development

The link between the design process and the technical development of our products should be virtually seamless. At North Star, our designers take responsibility not only for the aesthetics of their creations but also the technical function and "on-budget" construction method. This knowledge enables our development engineers to swiftly appreciate the design and employ their expertise to realize authentic and "fit for purpose" prototypes. Prototypes are, wherever possible, produced by the appointed and selected manufacturers to ensure accuracy and true representation of all aspects to be realized in production. This critical discipline serves to ensure clarity and understanding in production and precise estimating.

At North Star, we believe that our creativity should not be hindered by restrictions in manufacturing capability or geographical boundaries. That's why we enjoy quality partnerships with carefully assessed and accredited manufacturing partners in the UK, mainland Europe, Asia, and South Africa. Our instinct is to, where possible and practical, utilize our UK production partners and facilities. Not only do we take some pleasure in the support this offers to our UK suppliers, but lead times are shorter, and you may be surprised to see the cost-effectiveness of this route. We have been!

Of course, it is essential that North Star offers and ensures an excellent post-production service from the factory to the store.
