Fisherground Lodges offer stunning views and a great location for exploring the surrounding area. The lodges are situated near the King George Pub, Dalegarth Railway Station, and the Boot and Brook House Inns. The Eskdale Valley is a picturesque spot, surrounded by mountains and rolling hills.
Accommodation
The lodges are modern, glass-fronted, and well-equipped, with electric hob, microwave, and underfloor heating. There is plenty of space for parking and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. The lodges are dog-friendly and can accommodate up to six people. Bed linen is provided, but it would be useful if bath towels were also included.
Shortcomings
Some of the lodges may require some TLC, as mentioned in a few reviews. The kitchen utensils could be more extensive, and some of the appliances may require attention. The internet connection and mobile phone coverage may be limited, which could be a drawback for some guests.
Customer Service
Unfortunately, some guests have reported poor customer service, including aggressive behavior from the wardens. This is unacceptable and the owner might want to consider re-training their staff to provide a more welcoming and helpful service.
Amenities
The lodges are situated near the Fisherground Halt, which is convenient for guests who want to explore the surrounding area. The nearby King George Pub, Dalegarth Railway Station, and the Boot and Brook House Inns offer a range of amenities, including food and drink.
