Empowering Sustainable Design for a Better Tomorrow

The SouthendonSea Darby and Joan Organisation is a charity with a long and established history of caring for the elderly and those living with dementia and associated conditions. Founded nearly 80 years ago, we have a wealth of experience in providing high-quality care and support to those in need.

Our CQC-Rated Care Home

Our care home is rated "Good" by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), which is a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional care and support. Our home is a 26-bed residential care home, designed to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our residents. Our experienced and trained staff are dedicated to providing personalized care and support to each and every one of our residents.

Day Care Service

In addition to our residential care home, we also offer a day care service for individuals who wish to maintain their independence but require additional support during the day. Our day care service provides a safe and stimulating environment for our clients, with a range of activities and opportunities to socialize with others.

Admission Process

We understand that choosing a care home can be a daunting task, which is why we have a simple and straightforward admission process. Our process is designed to be as easy and stress-free as possible, ensuring that you and your loved one receive the care and support you need.

Our admission process is three steps: Step 1 involves contacting us to discuss any vacancies at the home and the care needs of yourself or your loved one. Step 2 involves deciding how you will fund your care or the care of your relative. We accept both local authority referrals and self-referrals. Finally, Step 3 involves arranging the necessary admissions and making the necessary arrangements to ensure a smooth transition into the home.
