Halfords Traditional Butchers is a proud purveyor of a diverse range of products, from traditional items such as homemade faggots and pasties to a selection of farm-fresh poultry and frozen fish. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality meats, sourced locally and prepared freshly in-store.
Our Meat Selection
We offer a wide range of cuts from beef, pork, and lamb, all of which are hung on the premises to ensure the utmost tenderness and flavour. Our meat products are sourced locally and from around the UK, with a particular emphasis on free-range, farm-fresh produce.
We are proud to stock the ever-popular Gloucester Old Spot Pork, as well as a variety of seasonal game, and a selection of fresh and frozen fish. Our traditional butchers deli counter offers a variety of cooked meats, including homemade ham, beef, and pork. We also offer a selection of English and Scottish black puddings, drippings, and other traditional items.
Our Homemade Produce
At Halfords Traditional Butchers, we take great pride in our homemade produce, which includes our famous faggots, home-cured bacon, sausages, and burgers. We cater to a range of dietary requirements and offer a variety of gluten and pork-free items.
Our homemade sausages are a particular favourite with our customers, with the "Tewkesbury Banger" being the most popular. This sausage is inspired by our customers and is made with a combination of beef, pork, horseradish, and mustard.
Our Pies & Cooked Products
We offer a selection of homemade pies and cooked produce, including our popular gravy pies available in steak & kidney, steak & ale, and chicken & ham. We also offer a range of deep-fill speciality pies, such as Moroccan Lamb, Curry Goat, and Steak & Stilton.
Our other homemade cooked produce includes Award-Winning Faggots, Sausage Rolls, Black and White Pudding Rings, Brawn, and Scotch Eggs. We cook our own ham, beef, and pork and pickle, press, and cook our own tongue. Our homemade meat & veg pasties are a popular choice, and we can offer all pies frozen for you to bake off fresh at home.
Seasonal Produce
We offer a selection of seasonal produce, including seasonal game and a range of seasonal pies. Our pies are made fresh in-store and are available in small or large sizes. We can also personalise them for special events, such as birthdays or anniversaries.

We are proud to have received several awards for our products, including five awards from BPEX, purveyors of British quality pork. Our GOLD Award-Winning Bacon, sausages, and more are a testament to the quality of our products and our dedication to providing the best possible service.
Our Opening Hours
We are open Monday-Friday from 8.00am-5.15pm and Saturday from 8.00am-4.00pm. We look forward to welcoming you to our shop and providing you with the highest quality meats and homemade produce.
